Your Trusted Advisors
The changing needs of our clients require us as a professional and independent insurance brokerage, to remain educated and current with our industry. It is our responsibility to our clients to take the time to understand their “complete picture or whole story” so we can make the necessary recommendations required to ensure nothing is left to chance. The “Trusted Advisor” brings forth a role of “guardian” making sure that when your life changes and grows, your insurance changes and grows with it. It means taking the time to uncover and reveal what “could” happen, so it never does. Insurance is a very personal thing; we at Thunder Bay Insurance are proud to be your Trusted Advisors and give you the personal attention that you need.

Tip of the Month
With summer around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about making the most of your air conditioner. A good standard is to set your thermostat so that air conditioning does not engage until the temperature reaches 24°C. For every 1°C that the thermostat is raised, a savings of up to 4 percent can be achieved on your cooling bill.
Another way to save is by installing programmable thermostats or timers to adjust the temperature based on the time of day. Set your thermostat at higher temperatures when you are away from home and you will see the savings while also helping the environment. Closing your drapes will keep the cool in and the heat out while you are away.
