Thunder Bay Insurance’s reduce-, reuse-, recycle-minded staff have been very successful in diverting garbage to be recycled. On March 1, 2010 Thunder Bay Insurance was proud to be recognized by the City of Thunder Bay and the Zero Waste Action Team for environmental leadership in our waste reduction and recycling efforts. We were a recipient of the 2009 Municipal Green Award for implementing a successful recycling program and educating our employees on various “green” initiatives. We are excited to bring new ideas to the table for 2010 and to keep getting greener!

Thunder Bay Insurance is hosting a MARDI GRAS PARTY on Saturday, February 6 at the Moose Lodge (434 Fort William Road). There will be great prizes and Mardi Gras masks and beads! Tickets are $5 or $6 at the door. Purchase your tickets from either of our locations, any of our staff or the Habitat Restore (note: you must be 19 years or older to attend). Tickets can also be purchased from LUSU or SUCCI if you are a student!
All proceeds from this event will go to Thunder Bay Insurance’s Habitat for Humanity fund in support of the duplex home we will be building by 2016.
